DAY 1 - Tuesday, November 27

Watch each of the videos below and answer the questions on pg 12 in your packet.  After completing each section, please summarize HOW the videos SHOW each particular gas law.  Be specific by using the terms VOLUME, PRESSURE and TEMPERATURE.

I.  Relating Pressure and Volume (Boyle's Law)

DAY 2 - Wednesday, November 28 

After experimenting and answering ALL questions on page 11 using your Microscale Vacuum Apparatus, use your observations and understanding of the gas law investigated to complete the following tasks.

Summarize what you observed during the experiment with the balloon, shaving cream and marshmallow in the bell jar. BE SPECIFIC!!!

Explain HOW the experiment demonstrated Boyle's Law, using your understanding and observations about changes in pressure and volume. BE SPECIFIC!!!
