Note from the author:
Looking for something to engage your students in Greek mythology? Give them this retelling of the classic tale of Persephone and Demeter! In this activity, the students will be taking on roles of story characters who text about the whole situation!
Directions: Below is a retelling of the Persephone and Demeter story you've already familiar with. Please read through it carefully and respond to the prompts as directed. Your texts may surely be funny if you want to go that route, but please make sure they remain school appropriate! If you'd like to use "text speak," you may do so!

If you have trouble seeing the small print, hold down the "Ctrl" button while pressing and releasing the "plus" (+) key. That will zoom in your screen so you can read the text easier.

Please don't forget to click submit when you're finished and mark this assignment as done in Google Classroom.
