Each week I would like to give you time for some of your own learning.  What are you passionate about?  What do you want to learn, but you never get a chance?  How would you like to show your learning?  Let's do some exploring!

List five things that you are passionate about. What would you like to learn? What are your interests? What would you want to learn that wouldn't feel like learning?

Look at your five ideas above. Categorize them into most interested and somewhat interested.

Choose one of your ideas from the most interested category and write it below. Underneath, write down a few driving questions you would like to answer about your idea. (Note: If you are having trouble doing this, is this the idea you want to delve into? Think about it. )

Where would you look to find answers for your questions on your passion? Would you need any help? To what extent? Explain.

What would be a timeline for you to finish this work? Remember, you will only have 51 minutes one day per week. The class will vote on when they would like to complete this type of work.

How would you like to present your passion and your findings? Think about a lot of different ways: paper, technology, orally, or artistically. Think outside of the box for this one.
