Yesterday we took a good look at architecture in the North and South in the years prior to the Civil War. For Southern homes, we didn't look at the plantation homes. Many of these were destroyed during the Civil War, others were fell into ruin after the Civil War, but some have been restored. Please note, all of these houses were originally owned by slave holders.
