When you're done, I want you to think about which of the following topics you most enjoy or think most important:
Combining Like Terms with Distribution
Modeling Real World Scenarios using Expressions
It is now your turn to put on your teaching hat. I'd like you to create a 2-5 minute YouTube video in which you explain one of the above concepts to me as if I had never seen it before. Pretend like you're the guy from Khan Academy! Use all your editing skills to make the video as short and concise as possible. Here is what you will be graded on:
1. Video must be at least two minutes long, no longer than 5 minutes.
2. Must explicitly explain a concept, including all vocab words associated with it. Pretend like I'm a five year old and I've never seen this before.
3. Must use an example with explanation. For example, if you're explaining order of operations, you need to show me an order of operations problem with you explaining how to evaluate it.
4. Only two students can work on 1 video.
5. Each student must submit their own link on this page to receive credit.
6. The more creative you are the better! Have fun with it! Example, you can write on glass or a whiteboard and film it. You can film yourself explaining things. You can add music! Go crazy!!
7. Upload your video to Youtube!
