One way you can improve your skills is to use online resources. Khan Academy is a great tool to get tips on how to get better at very specific things. You can watch videos and practice problems!

If you are assigned lessons in Math Class, make sure you complete all the excercises and watch all the videos in the highlighted section. The amount of videos and excercises varies depending on the lesson.
If you scored below a 90% in any section of the Pre-Course Assessment, find that section below and complete the Crash Course excercises and questions. Complete all the sections that you need to! Don't be this guy. He skipped a few sections in the drone manual...
