Congratulations, recruit! Elphaba has just given you your first mission, to go into the very heart of Fantasyland and find the Crystal of the Magic Kingdom. She tells you the Crystal has the appearance of a snowglobe and is likely to be found on Main Street. In order to successfully reclaim the Crystal, she tells you that you will need to gather some remnants of five different spells that have been left behind in the Magic Kingdom and use that magic to complete your objective. In order from least to most powerful, the types of magic you will need to collect are Star Magic, Moon Magic, Planet Magic, Lightning Bolt Magic, and Sun Magic.

She also warns you to be careful because the Kingdom Hearts villains have big plans for the Magic Kingdom tonight. Lastly, she tells you to avoid contact with the GA. What do you consider to be the most important part of her instructions?

Find and bring back the Crystal of the Magic Kingdom. That is your mission objective.

Avoid contact with the GA. If they find out about the Crystal, your whole mission has failed.

The Kingdom Hearts villains have big plans for the Magic Kingdom. They are probably planning to steal the Crystal themselves, so you will have to be prepared to deal with a possible attack.

All of her instructions are equally important.

As you inconspicuously enter the Magic Kingdom, a chill travels down your spine. The gloaming sky seems foreboding. A cold, swirling white fog descends, obscuring familiar territory and making you feel as though you've entered a dream. Crowds press in against you on all sides, and suddenly you feel a cold hand clamp down on your shoulder. It's a zombie hand! You...

...quickly and easily dispatch the zombie and resume looking for the Crystal on Main Street.

...run, not wanting to call attention to yourself by engaging in a fight.

...disable the zombie and give it a thorough search, hoping to find Orders somewhere on it.

...realize this is a deliberate attack. Knowing your mission may have already been compromised, you decide to make a strategic retreat before you walk into a trap.

Question 3

Shaking off the zombie hand, you take off running down the nearest side street before the GA notices the altercation. The fog continues to muddle your thoughts like mead, and you can hear zombie footsteps in pursuit behind you. You decide to find a safe place to get out of the fog so you can plan your next move with your full mind. Where do you go?

The Liberty Tree Tavern. This location is known to be friendly towards Seditionists.

The Tortuga Tavern. This location is not often mentioned or used. Therefore, it is unlikely to be on your enemies' radar.

Gaston's Tavern. There always seems to be a lot happening in New France these days. This seems like the perfect place to overhear some conversations and maybe gain some information about the zombies and the mysterious magical fog.

Kowalski's Bakery. Jacob is a confirmed Sedionist recruit and with so many people coming in and out of the bakery, he may know what's going on.

Question 4

Knowing that Bard could appear at any moment in Gaston's Tavern, and bearing in mind that the GA likely monitors known Seditionist locations such as the Liberty Tree and Kowalski's Bakery, you take off towards Tortuga Tavern with as much speed as you can muster. The zombies give chase.

When you reach Tortuga Tavern, you discover the door has been locked. With zombies closing in behind you, you pound on the door, petitioning for entry. At last, the door cracks open and a hand drags you furtively inside. Fortunately, the zombies seem unable to go inside, limited only to the areas overtaken by fog.

However, you see that your rescuer is none other than Captain Jack Sparrow! How do you react?

Captain Jack Sparrow's true form is Grindelwald, with whom Glinda frequently associates for information. Deciding that Elphaba must implicitly approve of Glinda's actions, you decide to emulate Glinda and see if Sparrow can be worked with.

Captain Jack Sparrow's true form is Grindelwald, who is a known enemy. You instantly engage him in a fight before he can capture you or attempt to use ligilimency, which would compromise your mission.

You have a realistic estimation of your own abilities, and know that you are no match for Grindelwald's magical prowess. If Sparrow is hiding from the zombies inside a tavern, perhaps you can strategically use them to effect your escape. You quickly slip back outside, hoping the zombies will create enough of a distraction for you to get away.

You've stumbled upon Grindelwald outside the magical barriers surrounding the Castle. This could be the perfect opportunity to take him prisoner. You decide to call Elphaba and let her know that Grindelwald is hiding out in Tortuga Tavern, an easy target.

Question 5

You decide to emulate those Seditionists in more trusted positions than yourself. However, even while you project outward friendliness toward Sparrow, you never forget that he will double-cross you if he sees a better opportunity.

It seems he is not the only one making use of this hideout. Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Hook, and a gang of ROC pirates and ruffians have also taken refuge here. There seems to be a large enough gathering to form a small army. Speaking to the group, you propose devising a battle strategy to clear the Magic Kingdom of the zombies. Privately, you know this will enable you to complete your original mission.

Using canon information regarding Eldarion's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, where should your two main targets of attack be?

Club Villain and Port Royal.

Tony's Town Square Restaurant and the parade route.

The Magic Kingdom Castle and the Haunted Mansion.

Matthew's castle and Club 33.

Not having enough information yet to make an informed decision, you decide to look around the tavern for clues. Rooting through the dumpster, you find an official map of the Magic Kingdom and look for where key Halloween party events have been scheduled. You see that Cruella's Halloween Hideaway (Tony's Town Square Restaurant) is the new featured event at the party, where many of the Kingdom Hearts villains will no doubt be gathered. You also see that many of them will make an appearance in the parade. Since you believe there is a correlation between the Kingdom Hearts villains and the zombies, these two areas seem like the best targets to attack in order to cut off the zombies at their source.

Who will you choose to be your army's captains at each of these locations?

Since Tony's Town Square Restaurant is on Main Street (where you need to be to search for the Crystal), you decide to make Rapunzel your Captain at that location. Her light magic will undoubtedly deter any zombies, as well. Meanwhile, you ask Sparrow to Captain another army along the parade route. Between battling zombies and supplying his ROC fans with photos and autographs, Sparrow will hopefully stay distracted.

You and your allies burst from the tavern, fighting your way to your designated battle locations. You battle a steady stream of zombies through Adventureland and Liberty Square, and finally find yourself on the bridge that connects back to the castle hub. You start to feel the telltale signs of a time trip beginning. What do you do?

Perform a call to reality to learn whether the time trip is legitimate.

Think of something interesting to do that will distract the Valar. This will give you Valar Favor and allow you to divert the time trip.

Ignore the oncoming time trip and continue to pursue your mission objective.

Enlist help from higher-tier characters to gather enough Valar Favor to resist the time trip.

Question 8

The compulsion to be absorbed into the time trip ends as you ignore it, forcing Loki and the Wizard to rationalize their methods to the Valar if they are inclined. Meanwhile, you intend to give them no time for such justifications and continue towards Main Street.

Throughout your search on Main Street, you discover and collect the five magical remnants Elphaba told you about, but unfortunately, you see no sign of the Crystal.

You hear faint sounds of battle from Frontierland off in the distance, but you notice the zombie numbers are thankfully beginning to dwindle. Just as you are about to breathe a sigh of relief, a portal opens ahead of you. The world on the other side of the portal appears dark and bleak, but has a similar energy to the rest of the Kingdom Hearts lands. You wonder if this could be the missing kingdom--the notorious End of the World. As though confirming your suspicions, a gargoyle-like creature emerges from the portal to challenge you.

You are grateful for the magic spell remnants you have collected and decide to use one of them to defend yourself against Chernabog. The spell you choose is...

...Aurora's Rose Petals.

...Rapunzel's Hair Whip.

...Ariel's Bubble Attack.

...Jasmine's Magic Carpet Tassels of Fury.

...Belle's Mountain Blizzard.

Question 9

Because Chernabog's weakness is Wishful Attacks, he is incapacitated by Belle's Mountain Blizzard and vanishes back inside the portal.

Your attention is diverted from the closing portal by a flash of magical light from your spell glinting off something near the Firehouse. The Crystal!

As you run to the Firehouse, you catch sight of another figure hurrying toward it, as well. It's the Wizard, who no doubt saw you battling Chernabog and came to investigate. Always on the lookout for magic to steal, the power of the Crystal seems to have drawn him as well.

Fortunately, you still have some magic spell remnants to use against him. Recalling the instructions Elphaba gave you at the beginning of your mission, what would be the best type of magic to use against the Wizard to give him the most powerful blow?

Question 10

Your spell knocks the Wizard off his feet, but unfortunately, he disappears through a Gateway before you can attempt to capture him. He is a coward. Let him run. You are about to fulfill your mission.

Carefully, you pick up the Crystal and feel the energy surging through it. You are anxious to get it to a safe location, and hurriedly make for the city exit.

Once outside the Magic Kingdom, you take a Gateway back to Resistance-controlled territory. How do you conclude your mission?

You burst into Animal Kingdom Lodge, find Elphaba, and declare that you've been successful!

You keep the Crystal in a hollow until you have an opportunity to discreetly transfer the object to Elphaba.

You contact Elphaba immediately and arrange a meeting place to give her the Crystal.  

None of the above. You assume Elphaba will contact you when she wants to hear the results of your mission.
