Check out the example below before starting your work. In the first example, when you add 3f and 1f it equals 4f, which is the same as 4f. In the second example, you have 3 groups of 2x+4, when you write them out and combine like terms, you will see that it is equal to 6x+12. Remember to simplify and combine terms when you need to.
Couple things to remember:
If no operation is written, and they are next to each other that means to multiply.
If no number is written then then the coefficient is 1.
