Recall from the Math Antics video:

- A RATIO shows the relationship between 2 of the SAME quantities/units. (In the example, both quantities could be part of the category - fruits).
- A RATE is a special type of ratio. It compares 2 DIFFERENT quantities/units - the 2nd is USUALLY a measure of time. (In the examples, one quantity measures a distance or monetary ($) amount, and the second quantity measures time).

- A UNIT RATE is a special type of rate. It compares the first quantity to JUST ONE of the second quantity.
