Giant pumpkins can be used as boats! The inventor of the pumpkin boat probably got the idea when they saw pumpkins float! Think like an inventor. What if you had a giant version of a fruit or vegetable? What could you use it for? A giant walnut shell could work as a bicycle helmet. A giant stalk of celery could work as an umbrella. Create your own invention!

Write a few sentences to explain your invention and make a drawing of it!

The dark rocks on the Moon are clues about the Moon's past. Those rocks tell scientists that there were once volcanoes on the Moon! What object tells a story about your past? Maybe it’s a toy from when you were younger. Maybe it’s a piece of equipment from a sport you used to play.

Make a drawing of the object and write the story of how it’s part of your past.
