Tenacious Tubing Accident

Vroom, vroom, gurgle, gurgle went the boat’s engine as the rope extended, bringing Kayla and me out into the desolate, deserted Lake Sonoma. “Emma, you’re shaking,” Kayla said in an amused tone. It was then that I realized that I wasn’t shaking from the cold, but from the mere idea of Daniel, Kayla’s dad, driving our boat.

This is a good example of personal narrative because:

It has an attention getting title, uses sensory language to immerse the reader, and appropriately uses first person pronouns.

It is the WHOLE LIFE story of the narrator, the title is brief, and is a complete story arc.

It is written using third person pronouns, is long, and is humorous.
