Which tomato variety should the farmer choose? Explain your reasoning.
She should choose Variety A. There is a great variety of weights so the farmer will receive more choices in tomato selction. Variety B does not have enough spread for the farmer to make a sound choice.
She shoiuld choose Variety A. Variety A has the most tomatoes weighed at 5.5 ounces as this is the center and most common weight of tomato found.
She should choose Variety B. The two varieties have the same spread but a different variation. Variety B's spread is slightly less so this would be the better choice.
She should choose Variety B. The two varieties of tomatoes have about the same typical weight, in general, but there was much less variation in Variety B tomato. The weights were much more consistent than the weights for Variety A, so the tomatoes are more likely to be the same size and closer to 5.5 ounces in weight.
