Topics for today:

Grammar: Simple present yes/no questions. Do you study on Saturdays? Yes, I do.

Adverbs & expressions of frequency.

Vocabulary: Sports and Leisure activities.

ACTIVITY 1. WRITING AND SPEAKING

Exercise 1. Students listen to the vocabulary about sporta and repeat it. Then they talk about their favorite sport.

Exercise 2. Students look at some pictures and match them to the sports.

Exercise 3. Look at the use of play, go and do, then complete the table. Listen to check.

Exercise 4. Read the sentences and choose the correct verb.

Exercise 5. Simple present (yes/no questions). Zoom

Exercise 6. Listen and fill in the blanks with do, does, don't or doesn't

Exercise 1. Write questions and answers. (Do this activity in your book)

Exercise 2. Read and repeat the days of the week. Then listen and answer the questions. (Do this activity in your book)

Exercise 3. Read "Riverdale Middle School". Then read some sentences and write the name of the sports.

Exercise 4. Think of your favorite sport and write five sentences about it. Read the sentences to the class.

Exercise 1. Students listen to the leisure activities, repeat and them to the photos. Then they talk about their leisure activities.

ACTIVITY 7 SPEAKING AND LISTENING.

Exercise 1. In pairs, Students ask about their leisure activities. How often do you go to the movies? I often go to the movies.

Exercise 2. Listen to someone talking about his leisure activities and check his answers. (Do this activity in your book)

Exercise 2. Listen and read the dialogue. Then act out similar ones.
