“Just as the movie characters in Flyboys left the USA to fight for France against Germany even though the USA was not yet involved in that war, there are Americans today who are traveling to the Middle East to fight for or against ISIS, to Ukraine to fight for or against Russia, and to Nigeria to fight for or against the Islamic terrorists of Boko Haram.
If you were five years older, would you be willing to travel to one of those places to fight? If so, to which place and on which side? If not, why not? If you had an older brother or sister who wanted to go there today, what would you tell them to encourage them to go or stay?”
