"Carbon monoxide is an invisible gas, and it’s poisonous, so we put ear-splitting alarms in houses to warn us of its dangerous presence. Carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide are also invisible gases, but without un-ignorable alarms in place, they’ve been allowed to cause rapid and dangerous changes to the climate, oceans and ecosystems on earth. "Climate change might be the biggest threat facing humanity. Just about everyone has heard that the end of the world is coming if we don't drastically change our system. So why is there no panic? Why don't you care? We see celebrities and politicians warning us about our impending doom but the plain fact is the average everyday person does not concern themselves with climate change".
