Write the date in French. Use your notes for spelling. Follow the format. You don't need to spell out the numbers (but be careful with the 1st!)

Example: May 22nd

C'est le 22 mai

Example: Monday May 22nd

C'est lundi 22 mai

If you just see an abbreviation, remember that it's written in the opposite order: 22/8 is August 22 so: c'est le 22 août
