Determine the best answer for each question below.
Remember, when you are finding the mutiples of a number, you will multiply that number by (1, 2, 3...).
Example 1: If you want to find the multiples of the number 2, you will multiply :
1 x 2 = 2
2 x 2 = 4
3 x 2 = 6
The first three multiples of 2 are 2, 4, 6.
Example 2: If you want to find the odd multiples of the number 2, you would multiply 2 by odd numbers (1, 3, 5...).
1 x 2 = 2
3 x 2 = 6
5 x 2 = 10
The first three odd multiples of 2 are 2, 6, 10.
Example 3: If you want to find the even multiples of the number 2, you would multiply 2 by even numbers (2, 4, 6...).
2 x 2 = 4
4 x 2 = 8
6 x 2 = 12
