Write a sentence including an appositive about something that happened in the story we are currently reading.

An appositive phrase...
- always includes a noun that gives more detail about the noun it's placed next to
- is separated from the rest of the sentence by commas
- is removable. You could take out the appositve phrase and still have a complete sentence.
- usually begins with an article ("the/an/a") because those words often go before a noun (and an appositive phrase always includes a noun)
