A food truck sells waffles for $5.30 per order. One day, the stand made $609.50 from waffle sales alone! Explain in words how you would set this problem up, and SOLVE to find how many waffle orders were sold! Include your answer in your response.

When ADDING or SUBTRACTING decimals, what do you need to do with the DECIMAL point?
move the decimal to the left the number of place values in the original problem
move the decimal to the right to make it not a decimal
line up the decimal points, then drop it straight down in your answer
When MULTIPLYING decimals, what do you do with the DECIMAL?
Line up the decimal points when setting up, and drop the decimal straight down in the answer.
It doesn't matter which number goes first, Multiply and randomly put the decimal point in your answer.
Longer # on top. Ignore the decimal until the end. Count up the # of #s behind the decimal in the original problem. That's how many #s should be behind the decimal in the answer.

Which one is the correct movement of the decimal(s) for the problem:

Move each decimal one place value right to change 0.03 to 0.3, and 1.575 to 15.75
Move each decimal two place values right to change 0.03 to 3, and 1.575 to 157.5
Move the decimal two place values on the outside (0.03 to 3) but NOT on the inside. Keep 1.575 as 1.575
Keep the decimals where they are
