"In the exuberance of his success, however, he forgot to alter the sails from black to white" (Theseus and the Minotaur).

This shows our theme of even hero’s make mistakes because it shows Theseus, our hero, forgetting to change the sails. This results in his father dying, and Theseus learning to be more mindful.

In Percy Jackson, he experiences a struggle with Medusa. When he and his friends were visiting "Aunty Em's" Annabeth had a bad feeling, but Percy ignored it. If he didn't ignore this feeling, Percy and his friends could have saved a lot of effort and potential risk.
