Voting for Indiana state elections is usually held in public buildings. These include schools, churches, libraries, town halls, or recreation centers. Volunteers make sure that voters are registered and help them use the voting machines.

Indiana has many beautiful and intersesting state parks. Falls of the Ohio State Park is the home of 400-million-year-old fossil beds. McCormick's Creek State Park was Indiana's first state park. Turkey Run Park has many tulip trees and white oak trees. It also has a restored frontier village. Wildlife and plant life are protected in state parks.

Conner Prairie is a living history museum in Fishers, Indiana. It was built to teacher people about life in Indiana in the 1800s. If you go, you will learn how early Hoosiers cooked, spun and dyed thread and yarn, and cared for their animals. You might even get to try milking a cow!
