Short answer: Yes ( she is).
Long answer: Yes, she is sleeping.
Can they dance?
Short answer: Yes ( they can).
Long answer: Yes, they can dance.
Does she own a dog?
Short answer: Yes ( she does).
Long answer: Yes, she owns a dog.
Is he playing guitar?
Short answer: No ( he isn't).
Long answer: No, he is not playing guitar.
SO HOW DO WE FORM A YES OR NO QUESTION?
To form Yes/No questions, we use one of these verbs: auxiliary verbs ( be, do and have ) or modal verbs ( can, may,etc.) at the beginning of a sentence. Namely,subject and verb change their position in statement and question.
