Birds are found all over the world and are important to people in many places. Many people eat birds’ eggs, as well as birds such as turkeys and chickens. Birds’ eggs and their meat are a source of food for many humans. Also, many birds help the plants people eat. Birds eat harmful insects like grasshoppers and beetles that can destroy the plants people use as food. These are some of the reasons why it’s important for people to help protect birds so they can live and grow. Birds can be very useful to us humans!
