Allie's Plan
Allie did not want to take out the trash. "Sometimes it smells, and sometimes the bag breaks. Then there is trash all over! I don't want to do this job!"
"We all have jobs, Allie," said Dad. "You take out the trash. Tom walks the dog. Mom does the dishes. And, I clean the floor. Working together is what a family is all about."
Allie looked at her dad. He told her to get her job done, and then she could play.
"Wait!" said Allie. "I have a great plan!" She asked her dad to make a chart. "We should all take turns doing the jobs."
The next day, Allie got to walk the dog. Dad had to take out the trash. Allie was happy!
