Objective: SWBAT use their criteria and design analysis to write a proposal for the most effective drop pod based on cost and damage

Do Now:

“If I could redesign my egg drop, I would choose to use a strawberry crate, having bubble wrap line the inside of the crate. The padding would consist of cotton balls and packaging peanuts packed tightly, so as to fill up as much space as possible.

It would also include bubble wrap wrapped around the outside of the crate, since your crate may tip in any direction while falling. The bubble wrap would be secured using string tied around it to make sure that it does not unravel itself. The egg would be placed snugly in the middle and would not crack due to the heavy padding. I would put straws on the bottom that would break the fall....” (Vivian Troung, 2018)
