Linear equations to graphs
Pd. 3: TOGETHER WITH ME
Pd. 3- Together with me: Let's graph our ordered pairs from the table in the equation y= x + 2, then y= 2x - 5.
Pd. 4:TOGETHER WITH ME
Pd. 4- Together with me: Let's graph our ordered pairs from the table in the equation y= x + 2, then y= 2x - 5.
Create a table for the following equation: y=3x -1. Use -2 through 2 as your x values.
Create a table of values for the equation below. Use -2 through 2 as your x values.
Create a graph with from your table created in #10, or from the equation y= -1/2x + 4 . If your points are not in a completely straight line, you made a mistake!
Linear equations (y=mx + b) should always make a straight line when graphed.
Only the numbers on the line that were part of the table are solutions to the equations.
Any part of the line that is graphed is a solution to the equation.
