What is one limiting factor that you cannot control that might limit your pods success?
"One factor that I could not contorl in my egg drop was .. "
Determining success:
- A successful Egg Drop Project protects the egg so it does not break
- Although some egg drop designs might collapse on the first drop, the best designs will protect the egg and will need minimal repairs if dropped again.
Feedback and analysis:
- Was the egg drop successful or unsuccessful?
- What caused the pod to be successful or unsuccessful?
Evaluations:
- Everyone needs to complete an evaluation form for each team.
- Your group cannot drop unless all group members evaluations have been completed!
- Evaluations will be collected at the end of class.

How many successful pods were there? __________
Write the mass of the pods in order from smallest to largest in the space below. Then identify the relationship between size and success of the pod.
Successful - S
Not successful- NS
Is there a relationship between the pod’s mass/size and rate of success? What do you expect the relationship to be?
CFS:
Student identifies the most correct relationship between the IV (mass/velocity) and DV (force)
Accurately identifies the strongest sources of evidence from the experimental data
"I notice that there was a relationship between mass/size and success. The (bigger/smaller) the pod the (more/less) likely the pod was to succeed."
