Une journée typique

Many of your days are similar. Pick a typical day in a certain season and use a few er verbs that you have studied to say what you do and what you like to do. (It doesn’t have to be completely true.) Also mention what the weather is like. Remember to check over your spelling, conjugation, and accent marks. You will read this to the class at the end of the period.

Use only the vocabulary and grammar that you know, plus these additional expressions if necessary.

• en classe
• à l’école – at school
• au lycée – in HS
• à la plage – at the beach
• dans la salle de classe – in the classroom
• au cinéma

1. Brainstorm a list of verbs that you might use.
2. Conjugate them with –je or nous if necessary. (Some might be in the infinitive. [e.g. J’aime manger au restaurant, nous aimons danser.] *** Remember not to conjugate the 2nd verb!
3. Alternate how you start your sentences, so they don't all start with "je"
4. Type your sentences.

e.g. En été, il fait beau. J’aime manger au restaurant. Aussi, je dîne avec ma famille. Je voyage souvent à la plage. Je n’aime pas étudier mais j’aime parler français avec mes amis.
