We are going to practice the second step at identifing the limiting reactant. You should have calculated the amount of product each reactant will produce in limiting reactants 1. If you have it open as well as this one it will make things easier if you don't have your work in your notebook.

The second step is to see which reactant would make less product. That is the limiting reactant. It limits how much you can make. The other reactant would be the excess. Unless both make the same amount, then it is a complete reaction.
