Suppose the opposing player has made 72% of their foul shots this season. Estimate the number of points they will score in a one-and-one situation, based on a simulation.

Explain how you will use a simulation to estimate the number of points they will score. (be sure to include the component, how you will model the outcome, when a trial will end, and the response variable.

48 AP students requested to test in person, but due to social distancing guidelines, only 35 will be allowed to. 21 students are from Lincoln, 19 are from Franklin, and 8 are from Grant (these numbers are totally made up). Students are placed in a lottery to determine who will be able to test in person.

Explain how the component and the simulation would be different for this scenario. What details would you need to include?
