Even if you choose not to present, you must add your name to the list and complete a slide to show your Unit 5 final project meal (I will present it). Follow the instructions on the slide which includes inserting your name, a short description of your meal you chose for unit 5 and an image of that meal.

You will be analyzing 1 meal today. Then you will have some time to finish your final project for presentations tommorrow.

  • 2 ounces ground beef
  • 1/8 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 small green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/8 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/8 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/8 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
You will list the nutritional breakdown of the following micronutrients and macronutrients of spaghetti. Then you will compare it to the recommended daily intake for an adult male average weight of 154 lbs using the table linked here.
