Constructing viable arguments and critiquing the reasoning of others is a vital math skill to master. Alex argues that in the statistics and probability section there is only one strategy to utilize in order to find the number of students for each test score represented in the pie chart. Tom completely disagrees. He believes that there are at least 4 strategies to solve this section in the math spiral. Which do you agree with? Make sure to be very specific as to whom you agree with and why! Show your work if you feel it will strengthen your argument for the reader.
