If this story starter/finisher were made into a book, what would the theme of the book be?  Why? Write the theme and explain why. (RL6.2)

The Tortoise meanwhile kept going slowly but steadily, and, after a time, passed the place where the Hare was sleeping. But the Hare slept on very peacefully; and when at last he did wake up, the Tortoise was near the goal. The Hare now ran his swiftest, but he could not overtake the Tortoise in time.

Timmy came to school one day very disappointed. His parents had told him the evening before that his family was planning to move. He would be going to the same school but had to leave the only house he had ever lived in. That meant leaving his treehouse, his secret hide out in his bedroom and the big, comfortable window seat in the kitchen. Timmy was so sad that day at school and no one noticed. No one noticed that is until Steve came by and chose to sit with Timmy. They had never really hung out together but something changed that day as Steve walked across the lunchroom over to the table where Timmy was seated alone.
