What trend do you notice regarding the melting points of 3rd period hydrides?

Review the ring of truth video on the ratio of water: https://youtu.be/buFe-CyQctQ . Recall we needed to add electricity form oxygen and hydrogen gas from water. Maybe there is something about electricity that holds water particles together?
