Paragraph re-ording

Directions: Read the following jumbled paragraph and then figure out the logical order of the sentences. Make sure to read all of the sentences to make sure they are in the right order.

1. Instead of tapering gracefully, it had a bony knob at the end.
2. When I first brought my cat home from the Humane Society she was a mangy, pitiful animal. She had a terrible cold, too.
3. She was sneezing and sniffling and her meow was just a hoarse squeak. Apparently she was declawed by her previous owners, then abandoned or lost. Since she couldn't hunt, she nearly starved.
4. She was so thin that you could count her vertebrae just by looking at her. Not only that, but she had an abscess on one hip.
5. Now she is healed and as healthy as she can be.
6. She is such a playful and loving cat. I am gald we made the decision to adopt her.
7. The vets at the Humane Society had drained it, but it was still scabby and without fur. And on top of all of that she'd lost half her tail somewhere.
