You are now going to make your own cladogram! Look at the species below and identify similar characteristics. Then hand draw a cladogram and paste a picture in the essay question below to show how they are all related.
A couple of things to note:
There isn’t necessarily 1 “right” answer. If you need to do any research about traits that these organisms have feel free but it isn’t necessary. You also don’t need to cite any sources.
You can draw as many nodes as you need when making your cladogram.
You should be addressing TRAITS not where they live.
Hand draw your cladogram (remember to put the names of the organisms at the end of the lines and the traits that the organisms gain along the lines) and then compare your answer to mine below. You should bring in a hard copy of your cladogram.
I can't put a picture as an answer for after you submit so I am going to post a picture of my cladogram (again, yours might look different) below so you can compare - I am going to put A LOT of spaces so you have to scroll a lot before seeing the "answer" example.
