How can we prevent eutrophication?

Background:
Some of today’s more pressing enviornmental problems can be quite complicated and difficult for the average person to understand. Failure to accurately understand them may impact both how and when the problem gets attention. TV commercials, billboards, pamphlets, radio ads, and flyers have all proven helpful in this regard (EDUCATING THE PUBLIC!!!)
Your Task:
Create a comic strip educating your audience about eutrophication. Identify its main causes, its consequences and make some recommendations for what can be done to solve the problem.
Some thoughts:
A. You may target a young audience or an older auidence.
B. You are not graded upon your art skills, just your accuracy, thouroughness, and creativity.
C. The comic will be six panels to cover the subject and its possible resolution.
D. You may use many different sources for ideas and/or background information.
E. You must mention or illustrate: nitrogen/nitrates, phosphorous/phosphates, nutrients, eutrophication, phytoplankton, alge, dead zones, DO (dissolved oxygen), and decompoition

The six steps of eutrophication are

1)Addition of eutrophication sources (fertilizers, detergents, wastewater)

2) Runoff into bodies of water

3) Algal bloom from excess nutrients

4) Plants underneath algal bloom die from lack of photosynthesis

5) Algae uses up all nutrients and dies

6) Bacteria decomposes dead aquatic plants, creating a hypoxic zone (lack of O2) killing aquatic organisms

What starts the process of eutrophication?
Excess carbon dioxide
Excess nutrients
Excess fish
Excess oxygen
Because of the bacteria in the water, what is used up when decomposition occurs?
Nitrogen gas
Carbon dioxide
Argon
Oxygen
What happens when all of the oxygen is used up in the water?
An algal bloom is created
A live zone is created
A dead zone is created
Plants growth increases due to high levels of CO2
What is required for eutrophication to occur?
A body of water being enriched by bacteria
A body of water being enriched by organisms
A body of water being enriched by sunlight
A body of water being enriched by nutrients
A hypoxic waterway has a lack of
Dissolved carbon dioxide
Sunlight
Nutrients
Dissolved oxygen
The opposite of eutrophic is oligotrophic. An oligotrophic waterway has
high nutrients, increasing algae populations, and low dissolved oxygen
low nutrients, stable algae populations, and high dissolved oxygen
low nutrients, increasing algae populations, and low dissolved oxygen
high nutrients, no algae populations, and low dissolved oxygen
What are the causes of eutrophication?
Sunlight
Wastewater
Bacteria
Fertlizer
Detergents
