Read the story, Snow Storm, on your own, then answer the questions. The questions are read aloud for you.

Snow Storm


It was the day before the sledding race. Alex had been on his sled in the yard and went inside.

After making a sandwich, Alex turned on the TV. There was a newsflash that warned people about a very big snow storm that was coming. The reporter told people to stay off the roads.

That afternoon, the storm hit. Trees and roads had a blanket of new snow. Sidewalks were covered.

Alex got dressed and ran out to get ready for the sledding race in the morning. To his surprise, he could not find his sled!
