chrysalis.

After two weeks, a creature pops out of the chrysalis. The caterpillar has become a butterfly! The butterfly flutters its wings and flies away.

How does a frog grow? An adult frog lays a tiny egg in the water. The egg hatches and a tadpole swims out. It eats small plants to help grow. The tadpole grows two legs and its tail disappears. The tadpole has become a frog! It leaps out of the water and the frog can now live on land.
