Which sentence best summarizes the entire text?

A nine-year old black girl in Montgomery, Alabama writes letters to her cousin about the Montgomery bus boycott. It wasn’t easy for them, but after 381 days, the boycott ended and black people can sit where they want on the bus.

Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. leads a bus boycott to help make changes for black people. Many people are angry and his house is bombed.

Shirley writes a letter to her cousin describing how Rosa Parks refused to get off the bus. Ms. Parks gets arrested by the police and goes to jail.

On December 15, 1955, Elizabeth writes a letter to Shirley describing how in Detroit, anyone can sit anywhere they want on a bus.
