Pitanje 1
1.

Make a path from A to B to C....is that angle obtuse or acute? Look at the answer choices and make your best decision based on the angle they are referring to.

4.

Decide which logic law is in play and use it to find the conclusion:

This is either syllogism--(conclusion finishes with an if, then statement)

p->q

q->r

p->r--

Or detachment--(conclusion finishes with whatever the first 'then' statement is)

p->q

q

p

Pitanje 5
5.

They've given you the p and the q...now apply a ~ (which means the opposite) where necessary to create the symbolic representation of the boxed sentence.

Pitanje 6
6.

A biconditional statement symbol looks like p<->q...uses the words 'if and only if'...select the options that 'looks' most like the symbol and uses the words 'if and only if'...DO NOT MAKE ANYTHING THE OPPOSITE!!!

Pitanje 7
7.

Remember:

Parallel Lines have the SAME slope

Perpendicular Lines have slopes that are opposite reciprocals of each other (CHANGE SIGN and FLIP)

The equation y=mx+b tells us that the slope of each line will be the 'm' (the coefficient of x)

Type both equations into desmos and look at the graphs

are they parallel? are they perpendicular?

Compare the graphs and slopes and make a decision.

Pitanje 9
9.

Take a look at the answer choices...and review the size of the angle give (61 degrees)...use your intiution, as this figure is to scale.

Pitanje 10
10.

Conditional: p->q

Converse: q->p

Inverse: ~p->~q

Contrapositive: ~q->~p

Pitanje 11
11.

Look at the angles with information...do they look the same? If they do, they most likely are the same.

Now find x.

Pitanje 12
12.

Slope is

From (-4, -4), walk UP to the y-'location' of the next point (3, -1)...that's the top number.

From where you stopped walking up, walk right to (3, -1)...that's the bottom number.
