To complete this activity you should be able to do the following:
  • Analyze Beowulf’s direct and indirect characterization in the poem.
  • Understand the plot of Beowulf, the poem
  • Write from the perspective of Beowulf by adapting your language to match his.
  • Find textual evidence to support your answers.
IMAGINE Beowulf got the interview for his dream job….
  • You will answer the interview questions as if you were Beowulf. (Think about what he would say and how he would say it.)
  • You will provide EVIDENCE FROM THE TEXT to support your claims.
  • Answers MUST be at least 5 lines in length because there is nothing Beowulf likes more than talking about himself. Example: “I am brave as seen in my fight with Grendel...” (lines x-x)
