**Note: He uses the word "minus" interchangeably for "negative." Don't let that confuse you.
So, in summary, there are really two steps:
  1. Multiply and divide focusing only on the numbers, ignoring the signs.
  2. If both signs in the problem are the same the answer is positive. If the signs are different the answer is negative.
