Possessive adjectives are used to describe ownershipor distinguish between people. Use the singular form for one object, the plural form (with s) for more than one object. Possessive adjectives agree with the noun that follows them.
subject pronoun singular PA plural PA meaning
yo mi mis my
tú tu tus yours
él/ella/ud. su sus his/hers/yours
nosotros nuestro(a) nuestros(as) ours
vosotros vuestro(a) vuestros(as) y’alls
ellos(as)/uds. su sus theirs, you all's
**Note that the possessive adjective yours, tu, is the same as the pronoun, tú, but without the accent. This is one of the examples about why accents matter!
**Remember that nuestro and vuestro must agree in number and gender with what they are claiming!
