Describe a scene you recently read that evoked an emotion (caused an emotional response). Did something happen in your book that made you sad, angry, happy, laugh out loud... Describe it here in a least 3 complete sentences. (Use evidence, describe the scene fully, so I can understand the emotion you felt.)
When you are reading, stop and notice what you see, hear, taste, and smell. Can you create a picture in your mind? Visualizing what you are reading helps motivate you to keep reading and helps you understand what you are reading.
Example:
Your mental picture will look different than mine. There's no right or wrong way to see what we are reading. We all have different background knowledge and will picture scenes/despriptions or objects differently.
