Learning about the Powatan Tribe:

Our next novel is Blood on the River. Before we begin it is imperative that we have a clear understanding

of the Powhatan tribe. In today's lesson you will watch a documentary. During this time make sure that you are paying attention and that you answer the questions that follow.

Today's work is completely independent. Make sure to have the following materials listed below. This assignment is due before you leave. (Make sure to press the submit button at the end)

Pocahontas was born into the Powhatan tribe. Throughout this unit we will learn the true story of the Powhatan tribe and how they were greatly impacted by the English settlers.
