Launch:

Watch the following trailer. Do you believe that the Disney version of Pocahontas will be an accurate depiction (example) of the true story of the Powahtan tribe?

Now that we have watched the Disney Trailer of Pocahantas as well as read an article about the Powhtan tribe we will watch a documentary. During this time, make sure to complete the following Venn diagram.

Non-Negotiables:

You must include 4 points for both the documentary as well as the article you read above. In the Similarities section you will identify at least 2 things they both have in common.

As we prepare to close out today's lesson read the following epigrah. And answer the question that follows.
