In general, how are these students perceived by their less-motivated peers?

How are they perceived by their teachers and other adults?

How likely are they to live successful, productive, and fulfilling lives?

Do you believe that you are in charge of how hard you work for your own success? Explain.

In many years of posing these questions to students, the most profound responses I have commonly received are along the lines of:

"I am successfull in school, but people think that school is easy for me. It's not. They don't relize how hard I have to work for it."

In my experience, anyone disrespecting or laughing at hard-working students is immature and should reconsider their own priorities.
