First of all, my friend Blaine is telling everyone that this letter is about cat litter. Let me make a correction. It is about litter, which is trash that is left in locations where it should not be. This is a problem across the nation. Sometimes people do not pay attention to their outdoor trashcans and they overflow. The wind, rain, and animals can spread the trash all over. This is disturbing. In addition, it is to litter on purpose. Maybe you only drop trash once in a while. You are still part of the problem. After all, if we mess up this world, it’s the only one we have. When I saw the condition of our local park, I knew it was time for action. All over the park, there were plastic bags and bottles, trash, and even dirty diapers. The whole place should have yellow caution tape around it. I did some research, all on my own. The United States spends over 11 billion dollars each year on cleaning up litter. After I learned that many animals are harmed or killed by it, I became very . I volunteered to help clean up the park. The job is still , but we will keep on until completion. Inaction will not do. My question to you is, will you join us at the park this Saturday?
