Principle 2: Simplify & exaggerate
  1. Upload a photo that you feel properly demonstrates this principle to the canvas.
  2. Zoom and pan your image to fill the canvas.
  3. Annotate the image to identify evidence of the principle. Use tools from the Formative sidebar and contrasting colors to identify examples of the following in your picture:
  • Zoomed in on one particular subject, element, or feature
  • Contrasting colors that make the subject stand out
  • Blurring that emphasizes movement
  • A combination of both large and small objects
Because this principle is more open-ended than most, consider identifying elements with annotations and adding textbox labels like contrasting colors, focused/blurred, zoomed-in, large/small.
