Moose fat stores are an indication of moose health. The higher the fat stores, the healthier because they are well nourished (Note - higher fat stores doesn’t mean they are slow). When researchers studied fat stores in the moose population before and after the wolves arrived, the moose had much higher fat stores once the wolves made it to the island. Explain why you think this would be the case. Use vocabulary in your answer.
